Study’s purpose: to evaluate effect of pressure ulcer suggested guidelines on Nurses' Performance in intensive care unit at Zagazig University Hospitals. Methodology: a quasi-experimental design was utilized in the current study. The Study sample was selected purposively which composed of 30 nurses. Two tools were used; Tool I (Demographic Characteristics for nurses). Tool II (Nurses' knowledge questionnaire). Major results: The studied nurses had an improvement level of knowledge and practice regarding pressure ulcer at post and follow-up phases of suggested-guidelines. Clinical implications: Nurses should put best practice activities into place for each patient based on their risk as identified by the Braden Scale. This is because of the evidence-based benefits of guideline implementation.
