People response of shapes and architectural shapes differ from one to another, according to their knowledge backgrounds and their understanding of the theory which used in building design philosophy, this response and perception got changed if the perceiver is an architect or not, as in the ordinary case of being not an architect the person relate his perception to the ease of use he feels in the building and the overall design shape, while if the user is an architect he usually ignore all those feelings and perceive the building though an architectural unified theory, that theory respect a certain criteria without feelings, the unified theory raised by some theorists to revitalize the missing symbolism architecture, the architecture which disappeared by modernism so the products got without meaning, that led to a meaningless Egyptian architecture follows the international style of architecture, that style hide all the identity aspects from countries and destroyed traditional materials use. Here the research raise a question; how our contemporary Egyptian architecture affected by modernism from one side, and from the other side is he architects in Egypt follows the unified theory which was founded by the mathematics scientist and architectural theorist Nicos Salingaros, the research focuses on analytical methodology to monitor the effect of both theories; modernism and the unified theory on the Egyptian contemporary architecture via quantitative analysis for architectural design language and regional adaptation, the final outcome of this study revealed that the case study buildings mostly follows the modernism which needs possibility study for how we can applicate the unified theory in Egypt.
