Abstract:
Antioxidative defenses system in cells and tissues against free radical includes the antioxidant nutrients and metalloenzymes such as GSH-PX, catalase, SOD and ceruloplasmin. The most important lipid phase antioxidant is Vitamin E. It was aimed from the cectoparasites (lspecies of lice, 3 species of mites and 1 species of flies) and 7 species of endoparasites (2trematodes, 2cestodes, 2 enteric and 1 blood protozoa.) The overall prevalence rates of ectoparasites and endoparasites were 24.16% and 48.96% res(2.70%), Choanotaenia pusserinai’I. 71 %} .Raillietiua galeritae .lsosporaaegyptia (9 %}and Cryptospordium sp. (18.7%).The recorded. Ectoparasites were Strigiphilus cursistans (3.75%),Ornithonyssus bursa (0.21%)., megninia cubitalis (8.33%) and falculifer rostratus ( 9.79%) and Pseudolynchia canariensis (2.8%).The present study revealed that the single and mixed infection were~ 2.28% and 97.71% ) in the examined house sparrows respectively. Singleand mixed infection rates of endoparasites ;Haemoproteus passeris.
