Abstract:
This study was planned tu explore the variations that occur in some haematological, biochemical ann histopathological alterations accompanying the alopecia affecting Egyptian calves, as well as applying treatment trials and control in order to approach toBlood and serum samples were obtained from each examined animal for haematological and biochemical studies. the presence or absence ofblood parasites and also used for differential leucocytic count.Skin scraping samples were used for exclusion and identification dermatophyies and metazoan parasites. Samples of hair, soil and ration were taken for detection of various trace elements including zinc, copper, iron and manganese. Faecal samples were collSkin biopsies for histopathological examination.
