Abstract:
Maduramicin ammonium is a mono glycoside polyether ionophorous antibiotic produced by a strain of Actinomadura .yumaensis. It has beenshown to possess broad spectrum anti coccidial activity against most commercially important species of coccidia at a level of 5-7 ppm of feed.A voparcin is a glycopeptide antibiotic produced by a strain of Streptomyces Candidus. It is used as growthpromoting agent for broiler chickens at a level of 10-15 ppm of feed. These drugs are routinely used in poultry farms from one day of age and througEffects on tile growth rate, feed consumption and efficiency of feedtagea of 8 , 12 and 14 respectively, whi1he organifailed detectioD in proce.5ed cheese ••• ples.Enterobacter cloacae, ~nt. Liquefaciens, K1ebsiellaaerogenea, Kl. edwardsii Varo atlantae, Kl. pneum~nae andCitrobacter freundii could ~ isolate froe examined rAilk, cream, K~u~iesh cheese ;;and processed cheese aampl.ellit varyiiag percentage ranging form 2~ to 40”, while En-terobacter aerogenes could be isolated from raw milk and cream samples only
