Two hundred and seventy albino rats of different sex were used in thisexperiment. They were divided into two main experiments (1 & 2). Firstexperiment (therapeutic dose treated group). It was divided into 9 subgroupseach of 15 rats and given paracetamol, novalgin, levamisole, citarin alone orin combination by orally, IIM or SIC injection respectively daily and weeklyfor 3 months. Second experiment (double therapeutic dose treated group). Itwas also divided into 9 subgroups each of 15 rats and given the samecompounds at the- double therapeutic levels and treated by the same mannerat the same intervals with exception of levamisole and citarin when theyinjected monthly instead of weekly.Clinically some rats showed decrease in their body weights and 73.3%,86.7% and 93.3% mortalities of rats treated with double therapeutic dose ofparacetamol alone and in combination with levamisole and citarin.2- Different species of micro-organisms were iso-lated from the presented cases such as staphy- lococcus epidermidis. Staphylococcus aureus,Alpha-haemolytic streptococci, Beta-haemolytic ,streptococci, non haemolytic streptococci pseudomonas aeruge~osa, E.coli, Anthracoid proteus vulgaris.3- Anthracoid 29~ 61%, staphylococcus aureus 25.70% staphylococcus epidermidis 2.23% E. coli 8.38%Cl. welchii 7.83%, Nesseria flava 6.15%, Nesseria --cavetia 1.12%, Beta haemolytic streptococci 5.59%,Alpha-haemolytic streptococci 2.79%.
