Abstract:
John galsworthy (1867 - 1933 ) is a typical novelist of the Edwardian age. His world is that of the commercial upper middle classes, of larg overfurnished houses in the subrbs, offices in the city of london. family ramifications.As matter of fact Galsworthy’s art and workmanship reflect a love of order and beauty which as much as pity and a passionate craving for justice. He has to create an image of the world showing how far it fell short of his canons of order and beauty, and he strives to make this image fulfill his canons of art.
