Molecular genetic evaluation for some economic traits in some Goat breeds

The present study aimed to determine a rapid method for early discovery of intersex goat. Intersex goat represents a loss in production since they are generally reared to maturity and then found worthless for breeding purposes. In the present study, two horned intersex zaraibi goats culled due to infertility were studied at Biochemical level by means of protein electrophoretic banding pattern, Molecular genetic level by means of DNA analysis using multiplex PCR and RAPD-PCR technique andcytological level by means of chromosomal karyotyping.
