Abstract:
The key factor governing the success of biosurfactant production is the development of an economical process that uses low-cost materials and gives high productivity (Rufino et al.,2007). to enhance the efficiency of biosurfactant production by microorganism, inexpensive medium components should be explored, since they represent about 50% of the total production costs. these may be food industry by-products or waste (Daniel and otto, 199 and Haba et al., 2000). industrial by-products have gaind great attention as alternative substrates for biosurfactant production. minimal studies have been reported on the production of biosurfactants by yeast (Hua et al., 2003)
