Non Chemical Control Of Some Potato Foliage Diseases

, the present work was designed to study:1. Screening and isolation of causal organisms cause foliage diseases of potato in some governorates (El-Sharkia, El-Qalubia and EL-Behira).2. Isolation of antagonistic microorganisms from healthy foliage systems, grow in heavily infected fields.3. Screening of different antagonists against different pathogens using detached leaves technique.4. Effect of some organic acids and plant extracts on diseases incidence using detached leaves technique.5. Evaluation of the most promising compounds or plant extracts or biocontrol agents on diseases incidence under field conditions.6. Agronomical studies on the plants treated with nonchemical methods compared with those treated with chemical fungicides i.e. Toxic- yield- protein content- dry matter.7. Effect of different treatment on potato (shelf life) and other storage diseases.8. Develop a new system include bioagents – organic acids and nutrition regime to control foliage diseases in organic farming.
