Abstract:
The present work is an approach to throw some light on the genetic behaviur of N use efficiency and its components, uptake, utilization and trnslocation , using five wheat parental genotypes and their derived F1 crosses under optimum N of two supply forms, calcium nitrate and urea . The work is extended to detect any genotype-N interaction . Also, principal component analysis and hierarchical euclidean clustering technique are applied on N use efficiency characters to conculude the primary components contributing towards the existed genetic varition , to give graphical presentation of relative genotype performances and to establish clusters of dissimilarity N responding wheat genotypes .
