6. Fertilization:The obtained results revealed that, the females’ body weight of common carp before and after hormonal injection were not significantly changed. The body weight ranged from 2247±38.16 g in hCG treatment to 2264±24.95 g in control group.The results showed that the highest egg weight was recorded in CP treatment (486±41.19 g) followed by CP+ hCG treatment (396.33±28.93 g) and hCG treatment (309.33±33.05 g), whereas the lowest value was recorded in untreated group (204.67±27.99 g) in spawning season (spring season).
