Abstract:
Citrus is the most wide spread fruit crop in Sharkia Governorate. The yield losses due to the citrus nematodes Tylenchulus semipenetrans were estimated to be in the range of 10-30 % . Therefore, this study was designed to through light on ecology and control of plant parasitic nematodes infesting citrus orchard with special reference to T.semipenetrans. Results indicated that nine genera of stylet bearing nematodes were found associated with citrus trees in Sharkia Governorate.
