Abstract:
Two experiments were conducted to study the effect of some soil amendments i.e. biogas manure (BM), chicken manure (CM), taffla (T), sulphur (S) and two water capture fertilizers (acidic and neutral WCF) on the behaviour of some nutrients in non calcareous loamy sand soil and calcareous clay loam soil and biological experiment was connected in the greenhouse at the Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig Univ. to study the effect of different soil amendments on the growth and chemical composition of sorghum plant at different periods of growth. The non calcareous loamy sand soil and calcareous clay loam soil were collected form he farm of Faculty of Agriculture of Zagazig Univ. at El-Khatgtara country and from El-Noubaria Research Station beside El-Boubraria, Northern part of tahreer province, Egypt. The treatments of biogas manure, chicken manure and taffla were added to the soils at a rate of 20 tons/fed and the treatments of acidic and neutral water capture fertilizers were added to the soils at a rate of 40 kgs/fed., while a treatment of sulphur was applied at a rate of 500 kgs/fed. The test materials were used separately and in different combinations.
