A Study On Some Mechanized Systemes To Produce Jerusalem Artichoke Crop

In Egypt, Jerusalem artichoke is planted and harvested manually, due to the mechanization of planting and harvesting has not studied. Till now the cultivated area in Egypt is limited due to such problems facing agriculture produce to deal with plants as the stem height form 2-3m and the tubers spread randomly under ground which causes some problems in mechanical harvesting and losses in the yield.The objectives of this work are:Selecting the optimum planting method.Selecting the optimum harvesting method.Evaluating the planting and harvesting methods from the economic point of view.
