Thesies aims to study Estimating combining ability for parental genotypes (general) and crosses (specific) for earliness, morphological charaters, yield and yield components and quality characters using Griffing,s (1965) model l, method 2.calculating heterosis from mid parent (M.P) and better pareent (H.P) for varouscross combinations F1) and inbreeding value (F2.)Detecting genetic components i.e., additive, dominance and derived parameters as well as heritability using haymans approach (1954 a and b) for the studied characters in half diallel 6x6..Testing the resulted genotypes of peanut under the two sowing dates and the two locations during the summer season season of 2005 and 2006, employing phenotypic (Eberhar and Russell, 1966) stability parameters and recommend the most stable crosses of peanut.
