Abstract:
The present work was carried out during the successive growing seasons of 2004 and 2005 in the greenhouse of the agricultural Botany and plant pathology department, Faculty of agriculture, Two pot experiments were carried out to investigate the effect of salinity. Glutamic acid is one of the most abundant amino acids and participates in a variety of physiological functions ( Kulkarni et al., 2005 ). The Aim of this study is to detect the effectiveness of exogenous foliar spraying with chemicals ( proline , putrescine , salicylic acid , jasmonic acid and glutamic acid ) for improving tolerance of mung bean plants to salinity .
