Abstract:	Aroyl isothiocyanates reacted with sodium azide to give 5-mercaptotetrazoles 2a-f. Tetrazole 2b undergo heterocyclization using simple reagents to give thiadiazolo-4, thiazolo-6, triazolo-11 tetrazole. The synthesis of tetrazolothiazine 9, 10 and tetrazoles 12-14 was also described.
