Studies On Intercropping Soybean With Corn And Sunflower

The major objectives of this study were to evaluate the effect of intercropping soybean with corn and sunflower on yield and yield attributes as well as competition. For this purpose two field experiments were conducted on the administration field in Diyrb Nigm District, Sharkia Governorate, during two successive seasons (2005 and 2006). Soybean cultivars Giza-35 and Giza-111 ,corn cultivar Giza-351 and sunflower cultivars Sakha-53 and Giza-102 were used in this investigation. The experimental field soil was clay in texture.
