Genetical studies on earliness trait in bread wheat using biochemical markers

The present work was carried out at the experimental farm of El-Gemmeiza, Agricultural Research Station, Egypt, through the three successive seasons of 2004 / 2005, 2005 / 2006 and 2006 / 2007. Chemical analyses were carried out at Molecular Genetic Lab., Genetics Dept., Fac. of Agriculture, Zagazig University, Agricultural Genetic Engineering Research Institute (AGERI) Giza, Egypt.Six parental genotypes of spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) were chosen which represent a wide range of earliness variability.
