Since, Egyptian peoples need about 12 million tons to achieve food security for. This gap between production and consumption is a resultant to many problems.Broad, horse or field bean (Vicia faba) is considered the first food legume crop in Egypt from view point of cultivated area, the grain pods and seeds as well as are consumed for making some important Egyptian meals. The important of this crop could be attributed to the high nutritional value, since its seeds contain 28% protein and carbohydrate to 58%, in addition to various vitamins and other nutrient elements. The cultivation of broad bean get the soil rich in nitrogenous content with the rate of 200 Kg/fed. approximately and then increasing soil fertility.
