Pathological Studies On Some Date-Palm Diseases In El-Sharkia Governorate

this work was established in order to avoid the date-palm trees from losses by the harmful pathogens. This work was performed through the following: 1. Samling, assess and figure the most prevalent symptoms of date-palm diseases in some localities of El-Sharkia governorate and other adjacent districts in El-Ismaelia and El-Dakahlia governorates. 2. Isolate, purify and detect the infectious causal agents from the diseased date-palm trees. 3. Test the pathogenic capability of the isolated microorganisms. 4. Isolate, purify and detect the date-palm phyllospheric and rhizospheric microorganisms. 5. Control the investigated diseases using different control means; biologically as well as chemically both in vitro and in vivo conditions.
