Abstract:
The present work aims to investigate the efficiency of some materials for heavy metals adsorption.Ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid di sodium salt, as chemical chelators while orange peel and rice husk as natural substances, were tested for their adsorption efficiency to reduce copper (as an essential metal) and lead (as a non-essential metal), concentrations in water to improve the aqueous environment of fish farms, and consequently fish meat quality. from the other hand, utilizing the huge quantities of these by-products, produced annually, in a useful and economic manner.
