Corn is considered as one of the most important cereal crops in Egypt. It is used in human feeding, industrial aspects for producing corn oil, starch and dry food for animal. Corn shelling is an important process after harvesting compared with other operations in manual harvesting. Hand shelling of corn is very slow process and requires much time and labor, but it causes minimum losses and seed damage compared with mechanical shelling.
