Biochemical Studies On The Sources Of Pollution The Internal Lakes

Agricultural waste and drainage water are always loaded with the residues of chemicals used for pest control and fertilizers. The drainage water discharges into the Qarun Lake- El-Fayoum Governorate, Egypt via 12 drains into the lake. There are two main and large drains, one the first one is El-Bats drain at the east of the lake and the second one is El-Wadi drain at the middle of the lake. So, this study carried out to through light on the drainage water of El-Bats and El-Wadi drains to determine the pesticide compounds (i.e, Organophosphorus and organochlorine compounds) and heavy metals which carried to Qarun Lake.
