Abstract:
Grape is considered as one of the most popular and favourite fruit crop in the world, for being has an excellent nice taste and height nutritional value.In Egypt, in ranks the second crop after citrus the total acreage of grape in Egypt exhibited a remarkable increase in few recent years till it reached to 155143 feddans producing about 8.79 tans / Fed (Av. Of one Fed.) according to the Ministry of Agric statistics (2003).Botanically, grapes belong to the genus vitis under the family Vitaceae, which includes more than 60 genera most of them are used in ornamental purposes and the little produces edible fruits . Crope fruits characterize with the high nutritional value and could be consumed fresh as table grapes, dried to be raisins while the juice may be used in fresh pasteurized from or be fermented to make wine.
