Abstract:
The presented study was carried out during 2003 and 2004 growing seasons on local Hayany date palm phoenix dactylifera cultivar. Fruits were harvested at the proper time from the experimental farm faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University, Zagazig Sharkia Governorate, and Egypt. where’s apply two treatments the 1st was bagging in carton box and wrapped with polyethylene bags and 2nd experiment was intermittent warming which examined effect on chemical properties such as sugars, phenols, tannins, ascorbic acid, total acidity, Carotenoids, moisture%, dray mater and chlorophyll and physiological properties as enzyme activity of Peroxidase and polyphenoloxidase, red fruit%, decayed fruit% and panel test. Best one carton box treatment and Fruits were stored on zero °C for 6 days at zero °C and 1 day on 10°C.
