Abstract:
The susceptibility of certain aquatic organisms the three pesticide methomyl, butachlor, and edifenophos was investigated. It was found that there was a wide range in sensitivity to the bioactivity of the three tested pesticides. Species, stage, instar, and age specificity took place in the respect. Using an early criterion of toxicity, phototactic behaviour, resulted in detecting much lower amounts of the used pesticide. Batachlor – exposed frog larvae suffered from malfarmation ; abnormal tail flexture. Detecting residues of methomyl biologically and chemically in three plant species gave different figure, residues.
