Abstract:
The present work aimed to investigate the range of responsibility of gypsophila fresh cut flowers to storage at 5ºC for several duration as simulate transport by cool truck (in order to minimize transportation costs). Besides, using pulsing solutions before storage periods for maintaining flower quality during transportation. Also, using holding solutions at the end of storage periods might improve flower quality during shelf life periods. The present work contained studying three factors and the interactions between them. The first factor was pulsing solution treatments as distilled water (D.W.), silver thiosulfate (STS) at 1: 4 mM for 30 minutes, gibberellic acid (GA3) at 25 ppm for over night and kintein (ki) at 5 ppm for over night .
