Design of different mechanical filter and fertilizer tank for modern irrigation systems

Abstract:
This investigation was carried out at 6-october farm, EL-Giza province for sewage water treatment, and Noubaria farm Behaira province for surface ground water treatment.The main objective of this research is to design a local filter with vegetal natural fibers media to do substitute sand separator, sand media filters and screen filters assemblage in pressurized irrigation systems, drip irrigation systems specifically. Also, it was possibility of designing fertigation injector unit to do at a less of different pressure betwixt inlet and outlet of injector unit.The following filters were used for water treatment:1- Foreign media filter with 48 - 71m3/h flow rate, 1.16m filtration area and 100-200 mesh filtration degree for one unit.2- Local media filter with 55-85 m3/h flow rate, 1.13 m filtration area and 100 -120 mesh filtration degree for one unit.3- Vegetal natural fibers with 45 - 95 m3/h flow rate, 0.4 m filtration area and 90 - 150 mesh filtration degree for one unitThis investigation was carried out at 6-october farm, EL-Giza province for sewage water treatment, and Noubaria farm Behaira province for surface ground water treatment.The main objective of this research is to design a local filter with vegetal natural fibers media to do substitute sand separator, sand media filters and screen filters assemblage in pressurized irrigation systems, drip irrigation systems specifically.
