Abstract:
The data obtained from this study can be summarized as follows: the content of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, and total chlorophyll were significantly increased in wheat plants with increasing nitrogen fertilizer levels and concentration of uniconazole. Phosphorus content in wheat plants increased while potassium content decreased with increasing concentration of uniconazole. Increasing nitrogen fertilizer levels and uniconazole concentration increased total nitrogen, soluble nitrogen and crude protein percentage in wheat grains. Carbohydrate fractions increased significantly in vegetative samples, grains and straw with increasing concentration of uniconazole. On the other hand increasing nitrogen fertilizer level decreased carbohydrate fractions of wheat plants. Dry matter percentage and plant height increased with increasing nitrogen fertilizer levels but decreased with increasing uniconazole concentration.
