Studies on certain medical and veterinary insect pests

the present investigation focused on the surveying and identification of frequent occurrence of adult fly species in different animal and poultry farms by using baited traps at Sharkia Governorate, East Delta. Also to make a perliminary survey of larvae and pupae of M. domestica from the cattle and poultry manure and determine the potency of NeemAzal-T (a formulation 5% Azadirachtin – active ingredient) and ethanol crude extract of Alpinia officinarum against the dominant fly species in all farms surveyed.These studies aimed to throw a beam of light on the most dominant fly species and population dynamics of medical and veterinary importance of certain flies to human bean and animals.
