Abstract:
Under sandy soil, at El-Khattara region, the night temperature is very low and the soil is very poor in nutrients and has low water holding capacty. Mulching may be a suitable method for decreasing soil moisture losses, prevents leaching of nutrients, decreases fluctuation between day and night temperatures. prevents weed competition and pests attacking plants and decreases soil salinity. For improving the soil conditions and fertility, applying organic manures Biofertilizers( microbial inoulation), which contain efficient strains of nitrains of nitrogen fixing and phosphate-solubilizing bacteria could be used with chemical ferilizers. Thereforealone or with N-mineral fertilizer. BioThis Work aimed to increase productivity of tomato in winter season under sandy soil conditions by using both organic, mineral and bionitrogen fertilizers and soil plastic mulch.
