Agronomic studies on egyptian cotton

The present study was laid out during 2001 and 2002 seasons at the Agric. Res. Station Farm, Fac. of Agric. Zagazig Univ., Egypt. The objective of this work was to discover the effect of planting date, plant stand and nitrogen fertilizaiton on growth criteria, flowering parameters as well as earliness indicators, and shedding %, yield and fibre properties of Giza 85 cotton cultivar.
