The aim of this work is to study the soil properties (morphological, physical and chemical) of West El-Gidida area, Which migh help in the technical and computed evaluations of the studied area. Desert land represents the great majority of the total these areas are concentrated mainly along the Nile valley the high annual increasing population, a large area of the fertile agricultural land is being lost every ,as a result desertification and industrial establishments on the cultivated land.thus, it is necessary to implement vertical and horizontal expansions.
