Abstract:
The present study was undertaken to provide detailed information on the effect of dietary protein level (20.5-23.0r and 17.0,19.0 % in the starter and finisher diet respectively and four feed volumes (1.56, 1.64, 1.70, 1.77 and1.60,1357, 1.75, 1.84,cc/g during the same previous periods) on the performance nutritional and economical efficiency as well as digestibility coefficient and some carcass traits of broiler chicks from 7 to 42 days of age.Increasing dietary protein level increased significantly live body weight, weight gain and feed consumption- also resulted in a significant improvement in feed conversion- efficiency of energy utilization, economical efficiency anddigestibility coefficient of protein. As protein increased protein efficiency ratio, abdoninal fat and heart weight %decreased. Furthermore, there were an ,improvement in the growth perfonnance index, nutritive value as digestible crude protein (DCP) and metabolizable energy( ME) Kcal k,Kg asdietary protein increased. The Present work aimes to Investigate the effect of dietary protein level and feed volume on the performance, nutritional and economical efficiency as well as digestibility coefficient of nutritiens in the diet and some carcass traits of broiler chicks.
