Abstract:
The present work has been planned to investigate the feafure of flowering (number of flower per shoot, anthesis date, anthesis time, stages of anthesis, pollen grain viability tests) in some planted Annona cvs and evaluate some treatments for improving fruit setting as well as fruit yield and fruit quality, from these, type and day time of pollination, pollen grains treatments, plant growth regulators such as GA3, NAA and BA applied on flowers and/or spraying on fruitlets. Stages of fruit development (growth curve) was also investigated beside the histological (internal) and morphological (external) stages of flower bud differentiation and development were carried out in Annona squamosa L. (Blady sp.) only.
