Abstract:
Its growth period extends during spring, summer and autumn. thus, it is important to know at what time this plant must be cultivate to produce more quality and quantity of forage. also, it is well know that plant density and nitrogen fertilization cause a change in the expression to other factors affecting productivity beside its importance in the production.therefore, the objectives of the present investigation were to evaluate the productivity and quality of the new hexaploid hybridgrass (Napiergrass x pearl millet) and study the effect of plant density and nitrogen fertilization on napiergrass and its hybrid with pearl millet in both autumn and spring planting under newly reclaimd sandy sandy soil conditions in sharkia governorate.
