Abstract:
This study characterized and assessed genetic polymorphism at the cytological and biochemical levels in faba bean (Vicia faba L.). The cytological polymorphism based on evaluation of mitotic activity and spontaneous mitotic abnormalities. The studied faba bean genotypes were examined for total storage protein polymorphism using electrophoretic procedures. The biochemical polymorphism of seed storage proteins as revealed by SDS-PAGE was used to investigate and characterize genetic diversity in this set of faba bean genotypes. A wider variation in MI was found between the different faba bean genotypes. The frequencies of mitotic phases are variable and depended on the tested genotype. The frequency of prophase stage was higher than the other phases Moreover. -Estime the kindling rate, of new zealand white rabbit does artificially inseminated using diluted semen supplemented with caffeine.
