Ecological,biological and control studies on rodent species in sharkia governorate

The present work was mainly interested in studying aspects concerning with rodent species at Sharkia Governorate. These subjects included occurrence, population density, sex ratio and seasonal population behavior of rodent species in the field and vegetable crop areas (outdoors) and in poultry and cattle farms (indoors). Moreover, this work was extended to investigate the effects of ultrasonic waves, insect pheromone, light intensity and photoperiod on some biological activities of the albino rat, Rattus norvegicus under laboratory conditions.
