Abstract:
It is well known that potassium citrate (K citrate) helps to get rid of most excess retetive water from the body even in case of increasing salinity. Moreover, K citrate is ueed as urine alkalinizer (mild diuretic and laxative) and to decrease inflammations accompanying urinary tract infections in animals .As a matter of fact ascorbic (AA) used to activate the physiological processes thus increasing the vitality of the subject and has beneficial effects during exposure to environmental or nutritional stress by alleviating detrimental effects of mycotoxins, heavy metals and pollutants on health and performance. Therefor The Present work aimes to Investigate the effect of different levels of sodium chloride addition without or with ascorbic acid or potassium citrate or both at the drinking water in growing lohmann broiler chicks on Body weight and gain, Natritional parameters(feed and water consumption, water/feed ratio), DROPpings moisture, diurnal changes in respiratory rate and rectal temperature.Mortality rate Blood , Carcass characteristics , Histopathological status(Liver, Kidney and brian) of growing Lohmann broiler chicks.. 2. The photoperiod of 24hrs/day along with 115% methionine level of the NRC recommended recorded the highest values of carcass and dressing percentages.3. Productive performance for laying Japanese quail improved under 20hrs/day photoperiod and by diets contained 100 or 115% of the methionine level recommended by NRC (1994).4. A continuous light (24hrs/day) or 16hrs/day photoperiod gave the earlier sexual maturity for Japanese quail than that reared under 8hrs/day.5. No significant influences observed in egg quality due to photoperiod and methionine level except, decreasing yolk index with diets contained 100 or 115% of the NRC (1994) recommended level of methionine and increasing albumen% for layers fed diet contained 115%.6. Results showed no significant differences in fertility and hatchability percentages due to photoperiod, methionine level and their interaction during 8-20 weeks of age.7. Correlation coefficients, among the traits studied significantly (P < 0.05 and 0.01) varied between negative and positive values.
