Physiological Studis on The Effect of Soil Salinity on Sweet Basil Plants

The prsent investigation aimed to - Through some lights on the characters of the four new basil varieties used under Egyptian conditions.- Clarifying, to what extent can the four used basil varieties plants tolerate soil salinity conditions by using salt crust of sea water. - Studing the effect of basil varieties, soil salinity and their interaction treatments on the growth, oil production and some chemical constituents. - Studying correlation coefficients between some characters of growth, oil yield and some chemical constituents of basil under the effect of varieties as well as soil salinity treatments.
