Inheritance Of Somatic Cell Count And Its Genetic Relationship With Productive Traits In Dairy Cattle

This work is aimed To estimate the influence of some non-genetic factors on milk-and somatic cell count traits.-To evaluate the genetic and phenotypic parmeters (i.e. heritability estimates, genetic-phenotypic and environmental correlations among and between traits studied). To ascertain if there is any difference in the genetic influence on the different SCCT (i.e., single, cumulative and the log the m) .To determine which from the different somatic cell count traits was the best to use it in the genetic improvement programs to decrease mastitis incidence in fleckvieh cattle.
