The poultry producer needs to concern himself more with the natural habitat of birds. The broiler industry has been forced to employ a number of behavioral aspects in management and nutrional schems inorder to maintain fecundity. The resulting of learning feeding, drinking, fasting thursty behavior are characterized by rapid growth, excellent feed efficiency and good body conformation. The purposes of this study were to investigate: 1- The relation between feeding and drinking behavior and ethciency of feed utilization.2- The effect of feeding time and eating on the body temperaure of broiler and behavior parameters during a hot summer day.3- The effect of refeeding follwing a hort-term feed orwater deprivation or both on the performance of broilers.4- Chicken regulation of feed intake in relation to the availability of water.5- The influence of restricing the water, feed or both consumption of broilers on broiler chickens as a fast growing chickens. 6- Water/ feed ratio as influenced by dietary energy. 7- Assessing the nutrient requirement of broiler-type chickens according to their genotype.
