Abstract:
Wheat is one of the most stratgic crop in Egypt. The cultivated area of wheat in Egypt reached about 2.5 million faddans in 1995, giving 5.7 million tons of grains. However, the local consumption in the same year valued more than 10 million tons. Therefor, The present work was conducted to throw further light on the effect of water stress and foliar application of copper as well as boron and their mixture on some physiological processes and yield of two wheat cultivars Giza 157 and Sakha 8 . Such information might be of certain use in the development of drought tolerant wheat plants or management practices to alleviate water strss.
