Studies On Sugarcane Mosaic Virus Disease In Egypt

The first point in this investigation was designed to isolate, identify and purify the virus or viruses which caused mosaic symptoms by sympotomology,host range,physical properties (dilution end point ”DEP”, themal inactivation point ”TIP”,longevity in vitro ”LIV”), mode of transmission and electron microscopy. The 2nd was to study the effect of SCMV infection on host ultrastructure while, the 3rd aim was to investigate the effect of some factors on SCMV infection , the effect pf SCMV infection on chemical components and the disease control by heat therapy.
