Physiological Studies on Citrus

The work was undertaken to add more infornation on the interrelations of the alteruate bearing habit with the hanges in some mineral and organo-chemical constituents of leaves, shoots and feeder roots of ”Balach” mandarin trees throughout but burst, floweringand friut set stages after heavy, moderate or poor fruit loads. It is hoped that conclusive results from such studies would contribute necessary informations for further investigations that may explain physiological aspects of this phenomenon and how to overcome.
