Nutritional Studies On Using Some Green Forages In Ruminant Rations

In Egypt one of the main important problems in fied of animal production is the shortage of feedstuffs especially during summer time.Noveover high quality green forages are not available for our livestocks during summer period as well as the concentrates quantity are limited and economically expensive. The present experiment were therefoe conducted in order to Study the cultivation, nutritional evaluation and utilization of sudan grass, sorghum-sudanagrass hybrid-102, pearl millet and teosinte by sheep and studing the effect of feeding teosinte with two levels of concentrate and rice straw on the milk yield and its composition of friesian crossbred coes and the [erformance of growing friesian crossbred bull calves.
