Utilzation Of Poor Quality Roughages In Complete Feeds For Ruminants

Milk and its products are essential in human diets. The milk coneumption per capita in Egypt is low when compared with other progressed countris. The bulk of Egyptian milk supply about 2.0 million tons is mainly provided by buffaloes (70%) and cows (29%) and to a lower extent by goats and sheep. The aim of this work was Studing the possibility of making pelleted complete feeds for feeding dairy cattle contained poor quality roughages and different levels of urea plus tafla clay by using computerization for feeds formulation and manefacturing and also, nutrilitional evaluation by digestibility trials and applied experiments on milking cows.
