As a result of this stange behaviour, soils may be more deteriprated. as wellas, the reclamation of a saline-sodic soils offeres a unique opportunity to monitor changes in soil properties that occur when the chemistry of the soil solution is changed.The purpose of the present work was to study the change in the chemical properties related to soil alkalinity of a natural saline-sodic soil at specific times after gypsum application in reclamation to the initation of reclamation as well as studying the availability of Zn and Mn and the thermodynamic of soil potassium during the reclamation processes.
